Archetype

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Look into my eyes
And tell me what you see
Someone real
This is real
What you wish to be” – Fear Factory

So now we have a better understanding of what is going on. Right now I am going to further discuss the concept of the Archetype. I think the best way to do this is to start with the definitions provided at http://dictionary.com :

–noun

1. the original pattern or model from which all things of the same kind are copied or on which they are based; a model or first form; prototype.
2. (in Jungian psychology) a collectively inherited unconscious idea, pattern of thought, image, etc., universally present in individual psyches.

We will start with an analogy for number 1.  Take an apple.  Clear your mind for a second, close your eyes if you have to and think of an apple. What color is it? Shape? Taste? Does it have a wormhole in it? A little green leaf  on top with a stem? Where do the boundaries end?

If you told me this apple is 6 stories tall, neon pink and tastes like chicken I may not believe this exists, but you are still describing an apple to me. Likewise if I gave you a phrase “Tastes like the moon” . This is a valid phrase and is understood. The only thing is. I have not tasted the moon recently.

Now here is your next challenge. Take a person or better yet a computer and describe an apple to them. Then put a 6 story neon pink apple that tastes like chicken in front of them and ask them what it is.  I cant guarantee they will figure it out. This will all depend on what language you used to describe it an how concise you were in the description. Basically an archetype is a template. Such templates exist for everything. Carl Jung theorized some of these templates were intrinsic to the human psyche. A list of these are linked in one of my previous posts:

Embody The Invisible

Which brings us to definition number 2.

My Wings

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

Embracing all myself I feel
through the storm that is shaking me
I don’t know where
I don’t know why
I know I’m not going to fall

And butterflies are flying
right beside me
as I ascend to the clouds
” – Lacuna Coil

Our world is filled with various dichotomies. As Carl Jung and many others said “There is no energy without opposites”. A friend of mine once told me “If evil did not exist the world would be a better place” . I said “Great observation Einstein, good could not exist without evil”. How could anything exist if there was no scale or guideline. These scales as well as the dichotomies themselves are objective and subjective just like our Archetypes. Perhaps we should consider these dichotomies a form of them.

Lets use  good and evil as an example. What constitutes pure good or evil? Where is the mid point? If you ask this to 100 “random” people they will all have different definitions. This is still generally defined somehow? Even the dictionary definitions are just simple adjectives.

My point here is that we may not realize it, but there are certain things that we have the freedom to define ourselves. This my friends is where I believe there is existence of the soul. Of course this is not the whole picture. It is a good start.

This is an integral part of the Red Bic project. This is where my theory is summed into one concept.  As you give more lighters to more people. You will eventually see as you are searching for whatever it is you are searching for. Wishing for whatever it is you desire. Maybe, just maybe they were simultaneously looking for you. Yes my friends, believe it or not this whole time you were too blind to realize things work both ways! That is completely OK. I was in the same boat for a while. As long as you get it now.

The easiest analogy would be to represent this mathematically. If your wish is objective function A and the inverse of that (it actually coming true) is objective function B.  A * B =  1 . You and your wish are direct inverses of each other. This is something special. You have defined an identity.

Instead of saying “I believe in the tooth fairy” you should be saying “The Tooth Fairy believes in me” and make adjustments accordingly.  You must remember, things do not pop out of nowhere normally. They have to propagate. You have the power to manipulate this process. That is what Xinavane represents.

This is not  a match made in heaven or anything like that. It can be though. It is progression. From there you can make more adjustments, decisions and operate more efficiently. Prior to this you may not know what you wanted. Now there is definition.

I understand this is a little abstract. You will know when it happens. Go get it done…Fly Fly Fly…Fly Fly Fly…..

Be my fallen angel
Reveal the dream to all
Construct my sense of freedom
And I will hear you call” -Mercenary

Lets take a step back from everything that is real (or at least tangible). We can sit here all day and choose a topic such as Mathematics, Psychology, Philosophy, Art, Religion to name a few. What if there is something we are missing? An underlying concept that cannot be described in our languages let alone any of the above because we are not ready for it? In a sense part of this project was to make ourselves aware of it.

If we lay back and accept this for a minute and say “Hey the religious guy is right, so is the Mathematician!”  or as I like to say “Same Shit” . We are all describing the same thing!  So from here on out lets cut the crap.  Lets say we are all wrong and combine forces while enriching our minds with new ideas.  I guarantee you will find one explanation will validate or even enhance your own.  New ideas will emerge just because you accepted the fact you are not God’s gift to the world. Go figure.

Some of the key things I have noticed and look for are where Art meets Mathematics as well as Religion. Philosophy and Mathematics are sometimes almost parallel to each other.  Philosophy and Religion are pretty similar too if you get down to the roots of it.  It is now time to express our freedoms of speech and thought. Why didn’t they come with a duty to listen?

You will know where to leave our mark.

For those of you who are not paying attention that means give some bic lighters and ideas to these people

Embody The Invisible

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

As per one of my favorite songs by In Flames:

“Read, what is written on the silent mouth
What is written in the soul

For which is written in the shining silence
We all have to read”

This is fairly self explanatory. Some of us have an innate ability to read people, but do we really “read” people? Granted we cannot literally read people’s minds or always tell what basis their decisions are made. Of course sometimes after a while, we can predict people. No matter how “random” they are. The mere fact that the same entity is generating “randomness”makes it simple probability.

An example of this would be driving randomly. You are only going where there is drivable land. Take random turns all you want, dirt roads, side roads, non-roads. The pattern is no obstructions or cliffs. What is true randomness?

As free as we are, the many directions we can go in. We are still confined to a finite number of choices. Your consciousness is no different. The only thing we can do is use our freedom to think outside the box. I definitely feel this is one of the least used and misused freedoms we have.

Traditions, uniforms, laws the list goes on. I am by no means against any of these we need them. The average person accepts it. This is ok. Why cant we think for ourselves?

What if there were a laws or religions that said “Once a year do a good deed for someone”, “Twice a year make a wish for someone else on a full moon”, or “Everytime you see an orange lighter, throw a handful of change down the next well and make a wish for many people”. These are more broad, more general. You can actually follow tradition and not be random. Do you not see the big picture though? When do you expect any of these to happen? Even with the full moons. Which full moons will you choose that year?

Some of the people you will encounter will seem to have nothing in common with and you are both the same person. Some people you think you have everything in common with you will find to be quite the opposite.

With that I want to introduce a task. This is the hardest task of the project. Your job is to find your inverse. To the simple mind this means your opposite. NO! Just because they wore white when you had black or said up when you said down they are not your inverse. This concept is more complex.

This goes back to the whole Archetype concept again. The best examples of what I am talking about are the Jungian Archetypes. Here is a  listing of some:

Some Archetypes

Now you will see what this is all about. The world through my eyes. I have found an inverse, I have found one of my archetypes which described something at a level of my consciousness that I did not know existed. Thus changing my life. My inverse did the same providing me with a mirror image to view some of the deepest voids of my soul and gave me a new direction.

Here is the thing. Both your archetypes and inverse are dynamic. In other words they can change over time. It is until it isn’t. You now have a tool to help you see this mirror image of your consciousness and perhaps your soul which will now aid you in enhancing and tightening loose ends. How?

Have you not been paying attention? Wish –> Pass along to “random” people. Where is it going? Who is it going to? Are you following your wish or is your wish following you?

Introduction

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

As human beings there is patterns in our thinking. This reflects our decisions, desires, in general just about everything to do with our everyday life. Thus creating a “path”. Two or more paths can collide due to the fact that people have a tendency to think similarly regardless of their objective. Is it safe to assume that the more similar the “path” the more likely a collision can occur? Maybe even some synchronization or parallelism?

What if we had a little red flag to trace those “paths” wouldn’t that make life a little interesting?

Rules:

* Acquire Red Bic Lighter(s)

* Carry them with you (you do not have to be a smoker to participate)

* If someone needs a light, Light Em Up

* When the time comes and you feel it is right. Pass the lighter on and make a wish.

You can wish for anything at all, doesn’t matter. Does not have to be announced. Now at this point that is as far as you have to go, you did not just throw a penny down a well or blow out some candles.

The Red Bic is going to do some work for you.
