The Red Bic Lighter Theory

As human beings there is patterns in our thinking. This reflects our decisions, desires, in general just about everything to do with our everyday life. Thus creating a “path”. Two or more paths can collide due to the fact that people have a tendency to think similarly regardless of their objective. Is it safe to assume that the more similar the “path” the more likely a collision can occur? Maybe even some synchronization or parallelism?

What if we had a little red flag to trace those “paths” wouldn’t that make life a little interesting?

Rules:

* Acquire Red Bic Lighter(s)

* Carry them with you (you do not have to be a smoker to participate)

* If someone needs a light, Light Em Up

* When the time comes and you feel it is right. Pass the lighter on and make a wish.

You can wish for anything at all, doesn’t matter. Does not have to be announced. Now at this point that is as far as you have to go, you did not just throw a penny down a well or blow out some candles.

The Red Bic is going to do some work for you.

last night one of my friend’s car broke down so he called me and asked for a ride….so i take him home and on the way back to my house he calls me from his girlfriend’s phone asking me if he dropped his phone in my car and he did…well i turn around and on my way back i realize that i dont have a lighter so i stop at the closest liquor store and buy one…didnt think to much of it at the time so i get close to his house and tried calling him because i forgot where he lived….no answer so i pull up to this house and the driveway looks identical but the car was different so i pull out to look for his house…as soon as i get turned around a woman comes out on the porch and shines a flashlight at me so i think its his girl and i pull back in and get out…when i get around to the front of my car she says “i think its best if you got in you’re car and left” so i tell her “i’m sorry, i got the wrong house”….in the meantime five german shepards come out so i jump back in the car and while im closing the door one of the dogs latched onto my hand leaving about a one inch long tear in my pinkie finger…so i close the door on the dog’s head so he would let go and eventually leave…well i went to the doctor today and got it cleaned up and while i was leaving i lit up a cigarette and it came to me…i had bought a red bic coincidence? i dont know….i never really believed in it until last night..hand is doing ok but i no longer have that cursed lighter

I am sorry to hear you had a rough night and I hope you feel better and heal well. Luckily you came out Ok. In all honesty though. That was bad ass.

I would love to live for the day I could say I got hunted down by 5 German Shepherds. Although my site is still currently under construction it is relieving that people are noticing it.

Since I have started this whole thing about a year and a half ago. Red Bics have been popping up in random places at random times. I kid you not. Each instance was a life lesson to be learned at the very least. Literally to the point where I am making a story about it.

The “Behind the Story” part is a more in depth look into what I am getting at. I would love to go into this in more detail, but that would spoil the story.

Ironically my first official Red Bic encounter was one from 7-11 (while going to buy beer). I still have that one to this day. I will cherish it forever. I swear I will be buried with it. This marked the beginning of a path for me. I use the Red Bic to follow my path to my wishes. My “Dead Ends”.

It has worked because of the sole fact that I believe in it. I don’t care if I am alone in this. I will continue to believe. It may not be supernatural, spiritual, a superstition, or even psychological. If someone wants to think of it that way go ahead. The beauty of this is it is open ended. I am not here to recruit a cult.

How does it make you feel when you see a Red Bic Lighter now? Do you get chills down your spine and look away, but cant. You are still intrigued because of what you are reminded of? Trust me I know.

Think about what it means to you. I am looking for ideas for the story to add. I am looking forward to your participation as well as everyone else who would like in on this.

Do not hesitate to contact me at redbic@redbiclighter.com with any questions. I have an open mind.

Is this website here to prove the negative outcome from obtaining a red bic lighter or just simply start some kind of trend? I have only heard “bad luck” stories pertaining to red bic lighters. (which lead me to this website)

  11. admin Says:

Thank you for the comment. To answer your question, neither. My point is that what you believe in and how persistent you are with it is going to be the outcome of the “path” you create. Almost like a self fulfilled prophecy. Most people believe it is bad luck, however in many ways I have proven otherwise. I like to think of it as a reminder. Like tying a ribbon to a tree to find your way home. The only difference is you are working backwards. Give it a shot and start a trend with a small group of people and let me know how it turns out.

Eventually I will be writing a fictitious story as well as a very technical in depth explanation of what I am trying to get at. Unfortunately I am a person just like you and I have not had as much time as I would like to put into it. I update it every once in a while here and there. I still to this day have not forgotten about it and I share it with everyone I feel deserves to know about it and would appreciate it.
